FAQ For IT Hiring Managers
I need someone to come in and help us with our servers once in a while. Is that something you do?
I'm sorry, we don't. We can refer you to a few other companies we know, so feel free to give us a call. Generally our purpose in business is to provide search services for someone you need long term, full time or part time. We define long term as a few months to a few years. But--it never hurts to chat online with us anytime just to check to see who we know!
I have a specific project or service that I'd like quoted as a concrete all-inclusive cost. Can you provide that?
I’m sorry, we don't. We can refer you to a few other companies we know, so feel free to give us a call. We are experts in searching for people, and staffing, not outsourcing or solutions.
I know you provide contractors, but do you also do direct hire?
Yes we do! We have two teams here at Wolverine; one who focuses on contracting and on contract to hire, and one focused on direct hire recruiting and placement. There is a slightly different process between the two, since direct hire recruiting requires expertise in your company’s benefits, and contractor recruiting requires expertise in Wolverine’s benefits.

What are your terms?
Well, we are flexible and easy to work with, above all. Please see “Terms and Conditions” page for our standard terms. It includes only two pages of standard industry procedure, so you can see we customize our process for our clients’ unilateral contracts. We have signed dozens and dozens of company contracts for staffing, so we can get through paperwork and terms faster than most agencies, and with far fewer headaches (none).
How do I go about hiring a contractor? How much does it cost?
Call, email or chat now with us. If you can give us an idea of the duration, duties, and requirements of the work to be done, we will give you a quote of what you would likely be paying hourly. If you request, we can provide sample resumes with the profiles you describe. Contractors can cost anywhere from $28/hour to $125/hour, depending on the level and availability of the skill-set on the market.
How much chocolate do you provide?
On our employee's first day, we'll meet him/her and you to make sure the assignment starts smoothly, and to provide a “Welcome to Wolverine” Gift Bag for your new contractor. In it he/she will find lots of useful items for their first day on the job, including Pepperidge Farms Milan and Chocolate Chunk cookies to share with you and the team!
