
1. Never probe for the answer you want to hear. When you ask a question, and
the person answers, and it's not quite what you were looking for, move on.
You
can safely bet that on a day-to-day basis, you are going to get the answers
that first come to that person's mind. There won't be time to probe for the
"right answer" hours before a deadline. You need good people who
can think on their feet.
